Which products are best suited for tray + shrink film packaging?

Packaging in tray + shrink film is rigid with respect to the side loads from which it protects the primary packages. At least to some extent, it becomes rigid even with respect to vertical loads, if the walls of the tray are at least as high as the primary packages in which the product is contained. Therefore, if the tray has low walls (half wall tray) it is suitable for packaging cans, bottles and cases. Otherwise, if it has high walls (high wall tray) it is also suitable for packaging envelopes and bags.
