What are the advantages of packaging in American (RSC) cases compared to wrap-around cases?

FAQ

The main advantages of packaging in American (RSC) cases compared to wrap-around cases are:

  • American cases allow for two closing methods. The simpler system relies on the application of adhesive tape, while the more sophisticated one involves the spraying of hot glue. Wrap-around cases, on the other hand, only allow closing using the spraying of hot glue.
  • In case of stoppage of the packaging machine, American cases can be filled by hand until the line has been restored, while wrap-around cases, on the other hand, cannot be filled by hand.
  • Once American cases reach the point of sale, they can be opened and partially emptied, maintaining their integrity and keeping the remaining products inside. Wrap-around cases, on the other hand, once opened tend to lose their integrity and must be fully emptied.

Zambelli designs and manufactures packaging machines for American (RSC) cases, as well as for wrap-around cases. Our technicians are always available to assess the best packaging style for every product.
