What are the advantages of packaging in American (RSC) cases compared to wrap-around cases?
The main advantages of packaging in American (RSC) cases compared to wrap-around cases are:
- American cases allow for two closing methods. The simpler system relies on the application of adhesive tape, while the more sophisticated one involves the spraying of hot glue. Wrap-around cases, on the other hand, only allow closing using the spraying of hot glue.
- In case of stoppage of the packaging machine, American cases can be filled by hand until the line has been restored, while wrap-around cases, on the other hand, cannot be filled by hand.
- Once American cases reach the point of sale, they can be opened and partially emptied, maintaining their integrity and keeping the remaining products inside. Wrap-around cases, on the other hand, once opened tend to lose their integrity and must be fully emptied.
