Glass & plastic jars

Glass or plastic jars can take different shapes depending on their intended use.

For example, conical jars in various sizes are used in the food industry as containers for yogurt, puddings, and jellies; these are usually found in plastic and are shallow with a medium to large circumference.

However, glass jars can also be used to hold spices and powders; in these cases the packs are narrower in circumference but are taller.

In our packaging machines, we are able to handle both versions of this pack with ease, mainly due to the use of robotic pick & place systems that allow movement along the production line without hiccups or slowdowns.

An example is the robot designed to handle glass jars for spices or again, our line designed to pack conical plastic jars containing jelly.
